DESCRIPTION

Design and Construction of the new Terminal for Auxiliary Marine Services of the Pacific Sector of the IMA Pier.

SCOPE OF WORK

The Marine Authority of Panama awarded the Inzelva Consortium (Ingenieria de Consulta Incostas and Grupo Zelda) the design and construction of the new Terminal for Auxiliary Marine Services of the Pacific Sector of the IMA Pier.

The auxiliary marine industry groups a large number of companies that provide various types of services, supplies, repairs, service boats, fuel and others. The project includes the oceanographic and environmental impact studies, the design and construction of a “T” shaped mixed dock with an operating platform in the connection to land with a maximum load capacity of 2 tons.

The platform of operations is ten (10) meters by five (5) meters, while for the fixed dock in “T” form, has a body of one hundred twenty (120) meters by five (5) meters wide plus a bandwidth of 1.20 for pedestrian use along of the pier body.

Additional to the end of the fixed dock it will count with a slab that we have identified as a head with the following dimensions: 5 meters width by 7.5 meters long. This last platform will be used to place the ramps that will communicate the floating pontoons with the fixed pier. Supply and installation of a marine crane with a maximum load capacity of 5 tons and a range of 18 meters. Paving, parking lots, perimeter fence, security checkpoint, offices, warehouses, cold rooms, cafeteria, public bathrooms and other port facilities.
