The Cardón IV Block High Resolution Single and Multi-Channel Marine Geophysical Site Survey were conducted in the Rafael Urdaneta Offshore Exploration Project Area. The main objective was the detection and location of shallow drilling risks within the first 100 meters of bottom soil, where the Drilling Rig is not protected against high-pressure shallow gas blowouts.
SCOPE OF WORK
Deliverables included: Single and Multi-Beam Bathymetric Charts, Interpreted Seismic Sections, Time and Depth Structural Charts, Isopach Charts, Side Scan Sonar Mosaics, Magnetometer Data Analysis and Shallow Geological Risks Charts.
Single-Channel Geophysics, Dual Frequency Single-Beam Echosounder, GeoSwath (Multi-Beam) Echosounder, Side Scan Sonar, Sub-Bottom Profiler, Cesium-Vapor Magnetometer.
30 c.i. Mini-GI Air Gun, Sercel Seal 48-Channel Digital Streamer, Sercel Seal Digital Data Acquisition, Recording and Quality Control System, Streamer Depth Levelers and DGPS Positioning.
