The early production project at bloque “Cardón IV” considers the transport of hydrocarbon gases through a pipeline that connects the areas of production at the Gulf of Venezuela with the processing facilities located at the Península de Paraguaná.
Collecting the existing historical data and performing measurements on different meteorological and oceanographic parameters was necessary in order to generate trustworthy statistics, which allow the characterization of the behavior of the registered variables, to develop the engineering for the processing facilities and the pipeline.
And so, for a year measurements on the currents, the winds and the tides were performed. With the collected data se models for different scenarios were built based on the necessary statistical predictions for the design of the facilities.
SCOPE OF WORK
Register and analysis from the data of:
Tides, Air temperature, Relative humidity Atmospheric pressure, Precipitation, Solar Radiation, UV Index (IUV), Magnitude and direction of the wind.
Nortek AWAC AST 400 kHz and Sontek Argonaut current profilers on bases antirastras. Weather station.
